The notion of sustainable development is steadily gaining acceptance. Across the globe, sustainability is one of the cornerstones of a new rationalism in the design process.
The purpose of the GLOBAL AWARD FOR SUSTAINABLE ARCHITECTURE is to honour annually five living architects who move towards sustainability.
One of them is commissioned to design a building for a new permanent collection of sustainable architecture which the Regional Government of Seine-aval is developing adjacent the Villa Savoye at Poissy (France).
